Disclaimer and Rights
This document expresses and illustrates an exempt legal environment and ecosystem by which a natural person, a civil association, a citizen, civilian, or members of a targeted public audience may transitively use copyrighted materials such as emblems, logos, images, photographs, slogans, symbols and trademarks that are intended to be identified with effectively promoting art, causes, concepts, consensus, commemorations, culture, holidays, ideas, initiatives, lifestyle, movements and social change to recognize the creator, commissioner, founder, originator, or source strictly for educational and informational purposes.

This document asserts our rights in understanding the law under the US Code of Federal Regulations, Fair Use under the Lanham Act, Fair Use under US Copyright Law, regulations of Internal Revenue Service Code, Common Law, the Model Nonprofit Corporation Act and the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
Any challenge or question as to our legal rights to produce or reproduce Creative Works such as coffee mugs, drinking cups, t-shirts, sweatshirts, souvenirs, ball caps, hats, keychains, and posters using the flags, coats of arms, collective marks, emblems, insignias, icons, logos, trademarks, trade names, service marks and symbols that are publicly designated such as those from states, countries and international organizations should be sent to us in the form of a cease and desist letter stating the specific sections and subsections of the US Code that are being violated and the request will be evaluated within 15 days. All of our use of such "logos, insignias and copyrights" is strictly for informational purposes.
Removal request communication should include a trademark or copyright registration file (proof of ownership) and should explain two or more of the following three items:
- how the product is not being used for informational or educational purposes,
- how the product is being commercialized, and/or
- causing harm to the party requesting the action.
Requests should be formal presentations using letterhead, must include a citation from the US Code and an example in common law or no action will be taken. Successful requests where a conflict of interest can be demonstrated as a matter of law, the product will be made unavailable and will be archived under past products that cannot be reproduced. No item that is derived from the public domain, Wikipedia or Creative Commons will be removed unless just cause can be demonstrated clearly.
